Director of Information Technology

Job Description

Summary: This position is responsible for overall management of the companys Information Technology Department and strategic planning of technology systems for U.S. operations along with directing the local SAP IT Application support team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Collaborate with companys on IT strategies and U.S. technology needs.
• Provide support and guidance for the SAP IT Applications support team.
• Develop and lead IT communication strategies.
• Manage direct and assign priorities and resources to projects to ensure attainment of IT goals and objectives.
• Analyze complex business needs and develop and implement technical solutions.
• Facilitate and support internal digitalization initiatives and the creation of a modern work team.
• Oversee technology applications and evaluate effectiveness against established goals.
• Support global IT standards and policies and systems to reinforce corporate strategies and goals.
• Oversee systems of internal controls emergency and backup procedures proper licensing system upgrades and disaster recovery plans to ensure integrity of information security of databases and internal network access control.
• Develop and control IT budget.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
