Job Details:
CR Fence & Rail is expanding and we require a visionary to steer our financial operations toward further success. We are in search of a seasoned Director of Finance to anchor our team of dedicated professionals. In this role you will be pivotal in shaping our financial strategies and maintaining a robust financial structure. This role demands a profound understanding of contemporary accounting practices and the agility to adapt financial strategies during periods of growth or downsizing. As an integral part of our senior management the Financial Controller/Finance Manager will excel in a leadership capacity that necessitates clear and persuasive communication skills.
Key Role Objective/Accountability(& KPIs):
- Financial Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead development and execution of budgets (operating capital program).
- Analyze financial data to identify costreduction opportunities and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with senior management on financial strategies and ensure compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to manage financial risks.
- Financial Operations & Reporting:
- Manage the finance team and financial IT systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly quarterly annual).
- Oversee accounting recording reporting and internal control activities.
- Maintain compliance with national and local financial regulations.
- Communicate financial data effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Risk Management & Financial Sustainability:
- Manage the capital structure and fundraising efforts.
- Analyze company liabilities and investments to mitigate financial risks.
- Implement corrective measures based on performance monitoring.
- Ensure the longterm financial stability of the company.
Requirements:
Role Requirements:
- A minimum of seven years of experience in finance management or a similar executive role.
- Ability to conduct indepth financial analysis including investigating revenue opportunities analyzing economic trends and identifying areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities unwavering determination and personal integrity.
- Superior communication skills across verbal written and visual modalities.
- Deep understanding of advanced accounting regulatory concerns and tax planning.
- Experience in capital raising outside traditional credit facilities.
Role Preferential:
- Advanced degree in Accounting Business Accounting or Finance.
- Preferably Has experience using Wise and Airwallex
- International finance experience and familiarity with foreign exchange challenges.
- Prior executive experience ideally within a SaaS business model focusing on revenue recognition.
Education:
Experience:
- 610 years relevant experience
Management:
- 510 years experience; 3 years of which as a Middle Manager

- Has control over an organization

Hardware Requirements:
- This level of hardware is sufficient for more demanding tasks such as browsing multiple browser tabs video editing and graphic design.
- The hardware requirements for this level are higher than the basic level and a midrange computer or laptop will be required.

Recruitment Process
- The recruitment process is all initially at your pace. We only do inperson interviews in the final step. We will initially ask yes/no & numeric questions to verify your relevant experience.
- We will ask you to list out your key responsibilities from your previous companies.
- We will then ask you to demonstrate past responsibilities to support your list of key responsibilities and success metrics.
- Then we will select a few applicants to do a paid trial task (we will provide actual problems/issues we face that you will try to resolve).
- Lastly we will do a final inperson interview (at this point you would most likely have passed most of the job competency and experience assessment and this is a job/culture fit opportunity for you to ask/understand us better).
