Director Of Endoscopy

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Endoscopy Center Director to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Endoscopy Center ensuring the delivery of highquality patient care while maintaining effective communication with staff peers and physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collegially and collaboratively with staff peers and physicians to ensure seamless operations of the Endoscopy Center.
• Successfully communicate with physicians regarding their schedules keeping them informed about clinical or other issues affecting the Endoscopy Center.
• Listen to physicians concerns and requests working towards mutually successful outcomes.
• Provide leadership and direction to Endoscopy Center staff promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Oversee daytoday operations including scheduling staffing and patient flow within the Endoscopy Center.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices related to endoscopic procedures and patient care.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient care pathways and enhance the patient experience.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Endoscopy Center operations.
• Develop and maintain policies procedures and protocols for Endoscopy Center operations in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to staff providing guidance and support to facilitate professional growth and development.

MustHaves:

1. Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred (either bachelors or Masters must be in Nursing).
2. State of New Mexico licensed Registered RN or compact license to practice in the state.
3. At least two (2) years of Endoscopy leadership experience at the Manager level or above.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Gastroenterology Nursing (CGRN).
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Strong understanding of endoscopy procedures equipment and technology.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
