The Human Resources Director (HR Director) is responsible for all HR related activities in multiple manufacturing sites in the Cleveland area (Union & NonUnion). This generalist role will support the business needs and the implementation of company strategy and objectives. This position is responsible for driving engagement and supporting/creating initiatives for employees to contribute a highperformance culture.

  • Ability to resolve various employee relations matters conduct investigations and enforce disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for the enforcement of company policies procedures and union work rules.
  • Ability to work closely with senior level site management to achieve corporate goals.
  • Establishes strategies priorities and job descriptions to retain top talent within the company. Works with management during the recruitment and selection process of new employees.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Dept. to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Work effectively within a union and nonunion environment.
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws.
  • Working knowledge of collective bargaining and grievance processes.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
    • Minimum 10 years of HR experience.
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing union environment.
    • Strong analytical and creative problemsolving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
