JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

We are looking for Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The responsibilities of a Digital Marketing Specialist include producing a broad range of marketing materials. Content will be written for the purpose of engaging potential buyers at various stages of the marketing funnel as well, providing useful information, and raising awareness of the brand and company. The successful candidate will help build the client s best practice process to streamline his workflow and systematize the business.


Your Responsibilities as a Digital Marketing Specialist:

Focusing on content creation and skillsets for graphics.
Drafting and editing communications and marketing materials with a variety of voices, focuses, and audiences, including press releases, media alerts, website copy, blogs, social posts, op-eds, speeches, scripts,
talking points, long-form narratives, and other PR and external communications materials.
Bringing new and creative themes, storylines, and tools to the table.
Jump in on projects or events where the team needs additional support without needing weeks to get up to speed.
Develop and oversee social media copy and content campaign ideas on an ongoing basis.
Facilitate and oversee the production of content to support marketing efforts.
Identify customers needs and gaps in current content and recommend new content mediums.
Collaborate with the research team to shape compelling digital content experiences, select engagement models, achieve research objectives, and refine digital storytelling.
Orchestrate content and interactive experience launch using digital engagement models.
Supervise content creators to optimize digital platforms and achieve client satisfaction.
Assess the effectiveness of the overall digital experience and digital content over time through research and data analysis.
Collaborate with web designers/programmers to optimize personalization and intelligence outputs. Evaluate innovative technologies to advance digital capabilities, emerging digital trends, and best practices


Requirements

As a Digital Marketing Specialist:

Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a similar discipline is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of proven work experience in content creation, copywriting, digital, and content marketing or a similar industry is strongly preferred.
At least 1-2 years of proven track record and deep writing experience for both print and digital content creation.
Takes initiative in producing content for business.
Can build a content calendar and present it to the client every month.
Exceptional communication and writing skills.
Strong portfolio demonstrating competency and track record as a content creator/copywriter.
Strong knowledge of online content strategy and creation, social media tools, and best practices.
Exceptional skills in writing, editing, proofreading, and generally producing publish-worthy content.
Working familiarity with Wordpress, CRM, Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Indesign) and Canva.
Versatile, has high standards and careful attention to details.
Exceptional research skills. Well-versed in search operators used to filter online search results.
A team player with the initiative to step up into the leadership responsibilities when the need arises.
Outstanding ability to think creatively and identify and resolve problems.
Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points.
High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
