The number of employees has increased by 10 in the last one year and we aim to be a company with 90 employees in three years.
Roles and Responsibility
You will be primarily responsible for DevOps work for our planned commercial services as well as being involved from the concept of new services to business development service implementation and operation. This role will begin working within the product teams but expected to grow into a DevOps leadership position as we further build out our DevOps team.
- Product evolution and feature offerings
- Developing and delivering new features of high value to customers through continuous product improvement
- Manage and optimize product release cycles and employ technical methods to improve productivity
- Establishing a DevOps culture
- Develop guidelines and best practices to spread DevOps philosophy and practices within your organization
- Strengthen collaboration with related groups and implement educational programs
- Developing CI/CD architecture
- Design and implement efficient and reliable CI/CD pipelines
- Improve and maintain automation testing and deployment strategies.
- Application of cloud native technology
- Building and optimizing a development environment using cloudnative technologies (Kubernetes Docker etc.)
- Microservices architecture design and implementation support
- Leverage configuration management tools:
- Automatic construction and management of infrastructure using Terraform Ansible etc.
- Ongoing infrastructure optimization and security maintenance
- Monitoring and log analysis:
- Server and application performance monitoring.
- Collects log data analyzes it and provides insight for problem resolution.
As this is a role with wide ranging responsibilities it is not expected that you will be able to cover all of them from the beginning. Starting with what you are comfortable with your team will support you as you build up your skills.
Minimum Requirements
You need to have 2 years of work experience in the following areas
- Programming language skills
- Familiarity with common programming languages such as Python JavaScript etc
- Linux and shell scripting
- Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and practical experience in writing and operating shell scripts.
- Container technology
- Experience operating container execution platforms such as Docker and AWS ECS in a production environment and deep knowledge of operating container orchestration tools such as ECS and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD Pipeline
- Handson experience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD etc.
- Configuration management and infrastructure automation
- Handson experience in configuration management and infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Cloud platform
- Experience building managing and operating infrastructure with major cloud service providers such as AWS and Azure.
- Language
- Business level English
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in operating and improving web systems:
- Practical experience in operating and improving web systems running on Linux
- Application development experience:
- Experience developing applications using languages such as Python Go rust JavaScript React Next.js Vue.js etc.
- Single Sign On development experience
- Experience in developing SSO using OIDC and OAuth
- EC system operation/development experience:
- Practical experience in operating and developing electronic commerce (EC) systems
- Experience in infrastructure operation design:
- Experience and knowledge regarding infrastructure operation design.
- Experience in visualizing operational issues:
- Experience in visualizing operational issues using tools such as Datadog and Amazon CloudWatch.
- Log management experience:
- Handson experience in log management using ELK stack (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana)

- Business level Japanese

Annual Salary: To be advised (JPY)
Hours: 10:00 19:00
- Full Flextime system available
