DevOps Engineer

NodeFlair is hiring for our client a provider responsible for developing and maintaining essential services within Singapores government systems. We are looking for a specialist in deploying onto the AWS Cloud with a strong understanding and proficiency in AWS services. Ideally candidates will also have exposure to GCloud in the past.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan execute and uphold our cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  
• Create and manage automated deployment pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins Ansible and Terraform.
  
• Monitor system performance and resolve any arising issues.
  
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless code integration into production.
  
• Enforce and update security protocols for our cloud infrastructure.
  
• Enhance scalability reliability and efficiency of our systems continually.
  
• Engage with diverse teams to explore and implement innovative technologies and processes for infrastructure and development enhancements.
  
• Take part in oncall rotations for addressing critical production issues.
  
• Document and sustain system configurations and procedures.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a relevant field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a particular emphasis on AWS and familiarity with GCloud is advantageous.
  
• Proficiency in database management and SQL is essential.
  
• Outstanding problemsolving and troubleshooting capabilities are necessary.
  
• Effective communication and collaboration skills are critical.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team setting is essential.
• AWS certifications would be beneficial.
