DevOps Engineer

Our highly prestigious partner in theInformation and Communications Technology sectoris looking for a DevOps Engineer.

Tasks:

• Work on the conception of test automation and the execution of tests
  
• Take on the clarification of requirements in the area of responsibility and adaptation of the software for certain products and services
  
• Carry out the corresponding programming work (coding) and take on the installation, configuration and administration of the software for certain products and services
  
• Create and maintain software documentation in the area of responsibility and support lifecycle management for the software developed for products and services by proactively contributing your own ideas and suggestions for improvement
  

Requirements

Must have:

• Fluency in English
  
• Practical experience in the use of modern tools for collaboration in agile software engineering teams (e.g. GitLab, Jira, JFrog Artifactory)
  

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  
• Experience and knowledge in big data architectures and in the analysis of unstructured data
  
• Experience in the conception of test automation and execution of tests
  

• Professional software engineering experience using extensive programming and language skills (e.g. Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, SQL, HTML / CSS, Java)
  

• Extensive experience in full stack development using appropriate frameworks (e.g. web services, REST, application server / microservices, (No) SQL databases, Vue.js, ...)
  

Nice to have:

• Network knowledge (CCNA/CCNP)
  
• Experience with cloud technologies
  
• German (B2 level) or willingness to learn german
