THE ROLE
As a DevOps Engineer you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our software development and IT operations processes. Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines managing infrastructure as code and fostering collaboration between development and operations teams. You will leverage cuttingedge tools and practices to automate workflows ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery. Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Implement and maintain IaC practices to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Utilize tools like Terraform Pulumi to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Work closely with development teams to automate testing and deployment processes.
Monitoring and Logging:
- Establish robust monitoring solutions for proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Implement logging and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster collaboration between development and operations teams to enhance communication and efficiency.
- Act as a bridge between different teams to streamline workflows.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices in all aspects of the infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

We are a distributed team of more than 80 people all working remotely and communicating partially synchronously (we usually overlap with our teams for 3/4 hours daily and are free to work on some of the tasks whenever it suits us best). We value open communication proactivity and work/life balance and we measure our freelancers on performance rather than on the time spent on the job.

Requirements :
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Musthave:
- 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong background in scripting and automation.
- Proficient in containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Experience in CI/CD platforms as Github Actions / Circle CI.
- Solid understanding of networking security and system administration.
Nicetohave:
- Knowledge of serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Chef Puppet).
- Certification in DevOpsrelated technologies is a plus.
