Your Tasks

• Development implementation and tuning of feedback control loops state estimators and supervisory controllers.
• R&D experimental flights of tethered kite systems: planning supervision controller tuning/validation and data analysis incl. those of systematic error and causes.
• Supervision and continuous improvement of flight control system performance based on experimental data and feedback from operation team.
• Development of nonlinear dynamic models and simulations.
• Identification of linear dynamic models and their application in controller synthesis (loop shaping).
• Support for requirements engineering and definition of control system architecture.

Your Qualifications

Must have:

• MSc in Control Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Relevant practical professional experience
• Proficiency in programming in C/C and Matlab and/or python
• Experience in working with version control systems Git and/or SVN
• Independent thinker and team player

Desired:

• several years of experience in a similar position
• Experience with realtime operating systems
• Experience with airborne systems
• Interested in being airborne (e.g. paragliding kite surfing gliding) or air borne systems (e.g. flying drones)
