As a Dev Ops Engineer at Homelike you will take ownership for maintaining and developing our cloud-based infrastructure and its performance and availability while being part of our cross functional tech team! Tasks

How you are part of our success story:

• As Dev Ops Engineer you are responsible for maintaining, developing and designing our modern cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) based on infrastructure as code
• You own our infrastructure performance and availability
• You are responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting our system, our infrastructure and our network-related incidents (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
• As part of our cross functional tech team you envision, design, implement, maintain and extend our internal SaaS product which is the foundation of our tech company
• You implement and operate monitoring, logging, alerting interfaces in order to empower our engineers to take responsibility over their tasks
• You provide technical expertise and architectural know-how of AWS best practices
• You apply automation where needed, provide self-service abilities to the team and therefore drive innovation in our tech company

Requirements

What you need to convince us:

• You have 2+ years of experience as Dev Ops Engineer or in a similar role
• You are familiar with infrastructure as code technologies (Kubernetes, Cloudformation, Terraform, serverless) and modern cloud-based infrastructures (AWS)
• You have hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambdas, Kinesis, ES, VPC, MongoDB setup, Nginx.
• You ideally possess expertise in programming or software engineering and know everything about modern web technologies
• You are highly goal-oriented, work extremely conscientiously and like to work in an agile environment and within cross functional teams
• You share a startup/scaleup mindset, know what it takes to build a tech company and want to understand what is necessary to provide in order to make our products and services better every day
• You are willing to document and keep the current documentation updated
