Desktop Support Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and focused Desktop Support Executive for our client in automobile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to endusers ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems resolving hardware and software issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide firstlevel support for desktop hardware software and networking issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems reported by endusers promptly.
• Install configure and upgrade desktop hardware and software components.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including system updates patches and backups.
• Investigate and troubleshoot desktop laptop and peripheral issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex technical problems.
• Assist endusers in using desktop systems and applications effectively.
• Provide training and guidance on ITrelated topics.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests resolutions and system configurations.
• Create and update user documentation for common technical issues.
• Communicate technical information to nontechnical users in a clear and understandable manner.
• Keep users informed about the status of their support requests.
• Ensure the security and integrity of desktop systems by implementing and enforcing security policies.
• Collaborate with the security team to address any securityrelated concerns.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science.
• Prior at least 3 years experience in desktop support or related field.
• Indepth knowledge of desktop hardware and software systems.
• Hands on experience on DNS DHCP OSI Model Windows Support File Server Rights
• Management TCP IP Cache RAM LAN WAN DMZ Active Directory Port Subnet IP Addressing.
• Basic knowledge of Apache server & Firewall will be advantage.
• Good communication skills in English & Hindi (must be able to write grammatically correct English and should be well versed with spoken English & Hindi).
• Analytical bend of mind (must be able to analyze training requirements logically and provide solution that is practical & easy to develop & implement).
