Design Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand design requirements and provide technical expertise
• Create detailed 2D and 3D models utilizing CAD software
• Conduct feasibility studies and analysis for new product designs
• Develop prototypes and test products for performance and reliability
• Optimize designs for costeffectiveness and manufacturing efficiency
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations
• Support the transition of designs from concept to production
• Identify and implement design improvements based on feedback and testing
• Document and communicate design specifications and changes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in design engineering or related role
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD etc.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and materials
• Experience with design analysis and simulation tools
• Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
• Project management skills and experience
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with crossfunctional teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and limitations
• Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
