As a Draughtsman/Design Engineer at Fabex Engineering Pvt Ltd you will play a crucial role in our engineering and manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to create detailed technical drawings for various structures piping and layout work ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. You will also need to possess a strong understanding of piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drafting and Design: Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of pressure vessels structures and piping systems considering safety functionality and efficiency.
2. Layout Work: Collaborate with the engineering team to develop layout plans for manufacturing and assembly taking into account spatial constraints and optimal workflow.
3. Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID): Interpret and generate P&ID drawings including the depiction of process flows instrumentation and piping components.
4. Material and Component Selection: Assist in selecting appropriate materials and components based on project requirements and industry standards.
5. Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all drawings adhere to relevant codes standards and safety regulations such as ASME API and ISO.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers project managers and other team members to address design modifications and resolve technical issues.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all design and drawing revisions Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and parts lists to support manufacturing and procurement processes.
8. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the production and quality control teams during the manufacturing and testing phases.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree / Draughtsman or equivalent technical certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
05 years of professional experience as a Draughtsman in the field of pressure vessel manufacturing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks software for 2D and 3D design.
Strong knowledge of piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID).
Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of materials and components commonly used in pressure vessel manufacturing.
