Design Engineer 3 12642

Your IT Recruiter is seeking a Design Engineer 3 for our client.

Essential Functions:
Review and translate engineering documents from semiconductor equipment manufacturers to facility design document for construction.
Create new and manage existing construction designs and layouts that meets semiconductor industry and safety regulation.
Produce 2D and 3D equipment point to point diagrams and connections for semiconductor equipment.
Assess electrical mechanical and exhaust connections and manage their relationships to existing building connections (base build).

Position is 100% onsite.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
A candidate must meet ALL the below criteria. The candidate must:
Bachelor s degree with 2 years of relevant semiconductor experience; Associate degree with 4 years of relevant semiconductor experience.
Drafting experience using CAD software (AutoCAD).
Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Access PowerPoint Outlook)
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite)
The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Have practical understanding and application of safety regulations standards principles theories and techniques.
Strong Project Management skills.
Strong competency in industrial construction trades.
Selfdisciplined and able to work independently.
Ability to prioritize a variety of activities for timely response and results.
Excellent problem solving written and verbal communications skills.
Previous experience working in a union environment.
Previous experience working with hazardous process inputs.

Basic Qualifications : BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field rom an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Academic or professional experience using Java, C, C++, C#, Python, or similar programming languages Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Desired skills : Working on cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Integration/Test). FACE, Data Modelling and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) - Cameo or Rhapsody, SysML, DOORS, ICD/IRD/IDD. Design Assurance, System Verification, Integration & Test - test documentation and conduct, troubleshooting hardware/software. Strong verbal and written communication.
