Deputy Manager Mortgage loans

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the mortgage loan process from application to closing
• Manage a team of mortgage Sales officers and support staff
• Develop and implement lending strategies to meet organizational goals
• Ensure compliance with state and federal mortgage lending regulations
• Review and analyze loan applications and supporting documentation
• Provide guidance on complex loan applications and exceptions
• Monitor loan portfolio for delinquencies and collections
• Collaborate with underwriters appraisers and legal teams
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessment for mortgage loan applications
• Resolve escalated customer concerns and issues
• Stay updated on industry trends regulations and best practices
• Prepare reports and metrics on mortgage loan performance
• Assist in the development and implementation of mortgage loan policies and procedures
• Participate in recruiting training and performance evaluation of staff
• Contribute to achieving company targets for loan volume and profitability

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration or related field
• 3 years of experience in mortgage lending
• 1 years of experience in mortgage lending
• Strong knowledge of mortgage regulations and compliance
• Proven experience in team management and leadership
• Excellent financial analysis and risk assessment skills
• Demonstrated success in loan underwriting and portfolio management
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers staff and stakeholders
• Proficiency in mortgage lending software and systems
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Certification in Mortgage Loan Origination (MLO) is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
• Solid understanding of real estate principles and property valuation
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
