We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to support a dentistry in Iowa City Cedar Rapids Coralville Marion or Hiawatha IA.
This is an onsite role open to local candidates.
Shift: Mon Tues & Thurs: 8 AM 5 PM Wed: 1 PM 6 PM Friday: Off
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing quality dental care to patients and assisting the dentist in various procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct oral health assessments and screenings.
Clean and scale teeth to remove plaque and calculus.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants.
Take and develop dental xrays.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Administer local anesthesia when necessary.
Assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
Education:
- Associates degree
Required:
- Registered Dental Hygienist with active license
- 24 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft Dentrix CAD or Epic
