We're offering a dynamic opportunity for an analytical and eagertolearn Demand Planner to join our client’s Purchasing team in Georgetown TX. In this role you'll play a key part in managing inventory levels collaborating with various internal teams and efficiently processing and placing purchase orders.
Day to Day:
Day to Day:
- Efficiently process and consolidate vendor purchase orders daily ensuring accuracy in pricing terms and delivery schedules
- Address Late PO alerts manage intersite transfers and maintain accurate vendor communication
- Manage demand for stock items reviewing forecasts vs. actuals backorder alerts and contributing to order and forecast accuracy
- Resolve vendor issues input item replacements and initiate IORs as approved
- A degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred
- Mandatory experience with Epicor P21
- A solid understanding of supply chain concepts
- Strong communication skills for effective external and internal coordination
- An analytical mindset with a commitment to accuracy and task ownership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong grasp of spreadsheets
