ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Role responsibilities include:
Participating in various design projects from concept to completion
Producing drafts prototypes and engaging design solutions
Listening to feedback to hone skills and improve design

Job brief:
We are looking for a Junior Designer to create engaging designs according to requirements. You will work under the supervision of a Senior Designer to produce highquality work.
In this role you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for details. Must manage creatives to maintain Brand Standards any deviation requires Marketing approvals.
Your goal will be to create impactful designs that capture and promote our customer s vision.

Responsibilities:
Understand project requirements and concepts
Use various techniques to create drafts models and prototypes
Update final design with print specs (like logos banners interfaces)
Pitch creative ideas
Collaborate with team members to launch projects
Take on special design tasks (e.g. color corrections to meet brand standards)
Use feedback from other designers to improve
Support form design for Medical record forms

Requirements:
One to three years of experience as a Junior Designer
Experience with design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) and graphics editing tools (e.g. Photoshop PitStop MS Office applications)
Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping)
Understanding of visual elements (layout type and fonts)
Teamwork skills
A keen eye for detail understanding of brand standards
Time management and multitasking abilities
Creativity skills and problemsolving aptitude
BSc/BA in Design or a related field
Online portfolio very helpful
References upon request

If applicable become active member of the Clients Form Committee Promote the print services of the Xerox or client production print center (where applicable) Convert appropriate applications to digital platforms identify and develop digital document opportunities Forms/Document Design: Provide design expertise for all forms produced via printondemand (POD) Act as creative consultant on forms design/ construction Provide forms creation & revision services.
SKILLS: Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills Demonstrate ability to communicated effectively (both written & in person) to Senior levels to articulate document strategy Demonstrate ability to network with colleagues to share and deliver benchmark solutions Demonstrate ability to deliver to deadlines Demonstrate ability to function effectively at all levels of the business Ability to demonstrate knowledge of PCs and recent releases of Microsoft Office Ability to demonstrate current graphic design software especially In Design Adobe Illustrator Ability to demonstrate problems solving skills / analytical skills and interviewing skills to obtain customer requirements Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks in fast paced environment Ability to demonstrate creativity & strong negotiation skills Ability to demonstrate organizational skills
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 13 years of print industry experience either in a production and/or project management Minimum of three (3) years in a customer relationship role Experience in print (digital) document production techniques Experience with commercial / transaction print / digital print Direct Mail Experience helpful Experience in working autonomously Graphic and forms design expertise Valid drivers license
