Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced delivery driver for a local manufacturing facility. Deliveries are made daily and you will be home every night. Will travel to New York and New Jersey but will stay primarily in Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities:
- Transport product to predetermined destinations
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects accidents or violations
- May need to assist in the plant before and after deliveries
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Hands on experience with electronic logging
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations
- Valid drivers license (CDL B preferred but not required)
- Must be physically capable of moving product weighing up to 75lbs.
Monday Friday 1st Shift Occasional Saturday work may be required. $18.00/hr to start. Full time temp to hire position
