Debt Collector (m/f/d)

Your tasks

To support our ambitious growth, we are looking for a reliable and self-reliant Debt Collector (m/f/d) to strenghten our team! As a Debt Collector, you will be responsible for collecting money owed in the shortest amount of time possible, A collections representative must be courteous and empathetic towards people while remaining determined and persistent. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You will work closely with out internal Accounting team and follow up outstanding receivables
• You will implement new techniques and plan actions to collect money owed by our partners.
• You will work on locating and contacting our debtors in order to negotiate payoff dates and create payment schedules.
• You will be the main point of contact for our customers with questions or complaints related to payments and work proactively to resolve these issues while building trust with debtors.
• You will work on identifying gaps within the system, suggest and implement solutions and regularly and independently update the status of the account within our database.
• You will meet and comply with the requirements when legal action is inevitable.

Your Profile

• You have gained a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role involving debt collection.
• You have sufficient experience in dealing with targets and tight deadlines, can work well under time pressure and have good time management skills.
• You have already acquired knowledge of the relevant legal requirements.
• You have gained previous experience along with know-how on databases.
• You have strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• You work exceptionally well in a team and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• You communicate excellently in English (German language is an advantage)
