Job Title: Database Migration Specialist MySQL to PostgreSQL
Location: 100% REMOTE
Job Type: 6 months contract

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the migration of MySQL databases to PostgreSQL on Azure as part of a largescale PCF application migration project.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand database requirements and ensure successful integration with Azure services.
Design and implement migration strategies that minimize downtime and maintain data integrity.
Optimize database performance scalability and security in the cloud environment.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the migration process database architectures and postmigration operations.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams including best practices for database management and operations in Azure.
Troubleshoot and resolve migrationrelated issues ensuring stability and efficiency of the database systems postmigration.
Utilize tools like PGLoader Azure Migrate and Azure Database Migration Services to facilitate database migrations.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) applications and their migration to Azure.
Familiarity with other database technologies and cloud services.
Certification in Azure Database Administration.
