Database Administrator Sr

We are hiring a Database Administrator Sr for one of our clients in Phoenix AZ.

Job Description:

• The Database Administrator position has a primary focus on ensuring the integrity and performance of databases.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and implement databases to meet the needs of the Treasurers Office
• Use monitoring tools and techniques to minimize database downtime and keep databases running optimally and efficiently
• Define users and roles to enforce security and guarantee access to data
• Create SQL scripts stored procedures and functions
• Create and maintain complex replication & Alwayson clusters.

Skills Required:

• SQL Server administration
• MS SQL replication and alwayson
• TSQL
• PowerShell
• SSIS
• SSRS

Experience Required:

• 5 Years of Database Administration The qualified candidate will have demonstrated expertise in:
• SQL Server database administration (backup recovery security)
• Complex Database replication and Availability Groups
• Implementing and managing database security
• Database performance tuning
• Working with development teams to provide access to data
• SQL queries stored procedures and functions

Preferred candidates will possess expertise in:

• Using PowerShell to automate repeatable tasks
• SSIS package design and development
• Building reports and dashboards with SSRS SSAS and Power BI
• TSQL and PL/SQL
• Oracle RDB.

Experience Preferred:

• Five (5) years database design/development (MS SQL).
• Three (3) years advanced ETL and SSIS design/development (MS SQL).
• Two (2) years advanced Replication and AlwaysOn

Education Required:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science

Work hours:

• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Additional information:

• Candidates must complete the following TESTS on this link goes to IBM Or other accredited SQL testing site
• SQL Server 2019 for Developers
• SQL Server 2019 Data Base Administrators.
