Database Administrator

This is a remote position.

• Demonstrated experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator;
  
• Bachelors degree in a computerrelated discipline or relevant certification;
  
• Handson familiarity with database standards and end user applications;
  
• Proficient knowledge of data backup recovery security integrity and TSQL;
  
• Understanding of database design documentation and coding;
  
• Experience with MySQL and CouchDB would be considered a plus;
  
• Strong problemsolving skills and algorithmic thinking;
  
• Willingness and capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  
  

• Deploy and maintain server s performance ensure the continual availability of heavily utilized databases;
  
• Supervise database activity assessing performance and manage access and permissions;
  
• Implement procedures to enhance database security and sustain database standards;
  
• Conduct performance tuning on database systems and oversee the installation upgrading and administration of database applications;
  
• Identify and resolve database errors through diagnostic and troubleshooting measures
  
• Implement cuttingedge database technologies and generate and oversee database reports visualizations and dashboards.
