In this role as a Data Platform Engineer you will be responsible for expanding and improving the operation of the platform as well as conducting investigations and verifications related to new customers and initiatives. This position requires a broad technical understanding from the hardware layer including the network to the application layer making it a challenging and rewarding job.

<> To achieve sustainable publishing distribution the division provides optimization services for the entire supply chain using DX. It is a highly rewarding position that involves coordination with many stakeholders including publishers sales companies and bookstores to comprehensively reform the supply chain from upstream to downstream. • Experience in the development operation and troubleshooting of platforms.
• Development experience using scripting languages (Js Python PHP etc.) on the cloud.
• Practical experience in development using RDMS such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience in using public clouds (GCP AWS Azure).
• System construction experience with workflow engines like Apache Airflow Apache NiFi.
• Experience in designing and tuning database systems.
• Businesslevel proficiency in Japanese.

• Experience in environment setup and development on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in data engineering.
• Experience in building and operating Data Warehouses (DWH) such as Redshift or BigQuery.
• Experience as a project leader/subleader.
• Knowledge in networking.

• If you have experience in developing inhouse service systems and after that you have a strong desire to personally contribute to the actual business growth and promotion through the growth of products and services.
• If you have experience in project management at a systems integrator (SIer) and after that you feel a desire to provide products and services broadly to society rather than individual companies.
