Overview:

The Data Entry Operator plays a crucial role in the organizations efficiency by accurately inputting and maintaining data. They are responsible for performing various clerical and administrative tasks to support the organizations data management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting data from source documents into the computer system
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
  • Performing regular data quality checks and audits
  • Maintaining and updating databases
  • Preparing and sorting documents for data entry
  • Following data program techniques and procedures
  • Creating and maintaining logs for tracking purposes
  • Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
  • Responding to information requests and retrieving data as needed
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of data
  • Adhering to data entry standards and procedures
  • Verifying entered data by reviewing correcting deleting or reentering data
  • Performing other administrative and clerical tasks as needed
  • Supporting data entry projects and initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as a data entry operator or in a similar role
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent typing speed and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Basic understanding of databases and data management systems
  • Solid organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with administrative duties and office equipment
  • Knowledge of data security and integrity principles
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively
