Data Engineer

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with ayoungfinancial/FX company led by a management team with over 20 years of experience. Their mission is to simplify trading complexities and deliver excellence to clients across multiple continents and countries.


Position: Data Engineer

Location: Remote from anywhere inthe world

Employment type: Service Agreement/Selfemployment (no Employment contract option available)

Remuneration: Fixed monthly payment


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for processing and
  analyzing large datasets
• Develop and implement algorithms for calculating IB commissions ensuring accuracyand efficiency
• Work closely with the business team to understand data needs and translate them intoactionable insights
• Develop automated data reporting and visualization dashboards
• Maintain and improve data quality and integrity

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a data engineer or related role
• Prior experience in the CFDs sector and field is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of SQL data warehousing and ETL (Extract Transform Load)processes
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark Hadoop) is a plus
• Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
