• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
  
• 5 years experience as Data Engineer in a data savvy company.
  
• Proven expertise in Cloud services particularly docker virtual machines and functions (lambdas).
  
• Strong experience in data modeling with a preference for knowledge in transactions and ledgers.
  
• Solid background in database and schema design as well as data warehousing solutions.
  
• Proficient in SQL ETL tools and CI/CD processes.
  
• Ability to perform analytical tasks and provide insights based on data analysis.
  
• Proficiency in writing code in at least one common language for API development and management.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  

• Design construct install test and maintain highly scalable data management systems for both Production and Analytical environments.
  
• Develop and manage data pipeline in cloud platforms (Google Cloud and AWS).
  
• Implement data modeling techniques particularly in the areas of transaction processing and ledger management.
  
• Engage in database schema design and effectively manage ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes with CI/CD.
  
• Perform routine analysis of collected data and generate insights to inform business decisions.
  
• Develop and maintain data vendor APIs ensuring seamless integration with other business systems and enhancing functionality.
  
• Collaborate with the Software Engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues regarding data quality and accuracy.
  
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in data engineering and propose improvements to our data systems and processes.
