Data Engineer

Role:
You and your team will define develop build test and implement data products that meet functional and nonfunctional business requirements in collaboration with other teams throughout Engineering (R&D). You will collaborate with your Product Owner to ensure that the right functionality is developed and estimate the size and complexity of the work to be able to plan upcoming sprints. You will determine and maintain the technical design within the given architectural framework.

Essential requirements:

• Deep knowledge and passion for modern data architecture principles.
• Extensive handson experience as a Data Engineer in an agile environment.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
• Pragmatic approach understanding the tradeoffs between the perfect solution and a working solution.
• Passion for improving code quality as well as data quality.
• Knowledgeable about data modeling data access and data storage techniques.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure and AWS).

Additionally proficiency in Software Engineering System Design SQL CI/CD toolchain IaC GitOps DevOps Cloud Computing & the cloudnative ecosystem data privacy and security by design and networking is essential.

• Applying product thinking in working with data
• Data governance
• Modern data architecture such as data mesh
• Experience in creating reports for conveying business information or insights.
