Data Engineer

We are seeking a midlevel Data/ETL Engineer with 56 years of solid experience in ETL tools like Informatica and proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Azure Data Catalog Purview Microsoft Synapse and Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis development software testing migration and application implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis development software testing migration and implementation of applications.
• Work on AWS Cloud Azure Cloud and participate in the migration of applications from onpremises to Cloud environments.
• Execute data migration data governance and master data management tasks efficiently.
• Utilize heavy ETL tools and technologies including but not limited to DataStage Hadoop Informatica Synapse Talend Erwin Pentaho and SAS in highvolume Data Warehouse/Data Mart environments.
• Develop procedures/scripts in SQL/PL/SQL NZSQL PgSQL to support ETL processes.
• Utilize databases such as Oracle DB2 UDB Sybase SQL Server and Teradata for data management tasks.
• Work with multiterabyte MPP databases like Vertica and Netezza.
• Proficient in UNIX shell scripts Autosys JIL scripts XML Python and Perl Scripts.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and written skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 56 years of experience in a relevant data engineering role.
• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica and Microsoft tools like Azure Data Catalog Purview Microsoft Synapse.
• Handson experience with AWS Cloud Azure Cloud and migration of applications to Cloud platforms.
• Strong background in data migration data governance and master data management.
• Familiarity with heavy ETL tools and technologies in highvolume Data Warehouse/Data Mart environments.
• Proficiency in SQL/PL/SQL NZSQL PgSQL for scripting and data manipulation.
• Experience with a variety of databases including Oracle DB2 UDB Sybase SQL Server and Teradata.
• Experience working with multiterabyte MPP databases like Vertica and Netezza.
• Proficient in UNIX shell scripts Autosys JIL scripts XML Python and Perl Scripts.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Must be willing to work onsite 2 days a week.
