Data Engineer fmd

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling specifically with Data Vault 2.0 as well as proficiency in SQL Python and Java. Experience with Power BI or Looker is a plus. As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing building and maintaining our data warehouse to support the needs of the business. You will work closely with data analysts and data scientists to ensure that the data infrastructure is scalable reliable and efficient. To be successful in this role you should have excellent problemsolving skills a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Tasks

• Design and implement data warehouse models using Data Vault 2.0 and SQL.
• Integrating structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Analyzing and cleaning data to improve data quality.
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to design and implement data models.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug data pipeline issues as needed.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong experience with Data Vault 2.0 and SQL.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with Power BI or Looker is a plus.
• Experience in Online Marketing is a plus.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English.
