Data Conversion Specialist

We are looking for a Data Conversion Specialist who will be responsible for converting existing PDF documents for accessibility compliance with SEC 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Creating web content pages and ensuring converted documents maintain the integrity and formatting of the original PDFs. This role requires a keen eye for detail excellent technical skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Proficiency in HTML is a plus.

The Specialist will use the accessibility tool and action wizard tool within Adobe to create accessible and compliant PDFs. In doing so the Specialist will need to identify form fields set alternate text tag text that has not been autodetected and organize the reading order and HTML structure.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Convert existing PDFs into accessible PDFs 5 Years
• Convert PDFs into web content pages 5 Years
• Collaborate with team to improve conversion processes 5 Years
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of PDF accessibility best practices 5 Years
• Review converted documents for quality control and make necessary adjustments as needed 5 Years
• Work closely with the team to ensure timely delivery of converted documents 5 Years
• Provide technical support and training to other team members if needed 5 Years
• Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat 5 Years
• Knowledge of SEC 508 of the Rehabilitation Act is a plus 2 Years
