The role

We are looking for a Data Center IT Technician to join our team. You will work on various hardware issues and be involved in ambitious projects and IT operations in our data center.

Youre welcome to work in ourdata center in Mantsala Finland.

In this position your responsibility will be to:

• Solve firmware and hardwarerelated issues with servers
• Install and upgrade hardware by requests
• Install network infrastructure and set up switches for services
• Be involved in project tasks for IT infrastructure
• Create documents and processes for working with IT hardware
• Maintain IT infrastructure of data center
• Maintain IT hardware in our colocations in Helsinki (rare one day trips)

We expect you to have:

• Knowledge of data center servers and network equipment
• Practical experience solving issues with IT hardware
• Experience with enterprisebased network switches and cables installation
• Basic skills working with the Linux operating system and command line
• Experience with MS Excel (pivot tables formulas lists graphs)
• Proactiveness and sense of responsibility
• High proficiency of spoken and written English and Finnish

It would be an added bonus if you had:

• Driving license B
• Ability to diagnose and repair electronics at the component level (SMD)
