Responsibilities:
Install configure and maintain Databricks environments to support data engineering and analytics activities.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and optimize Databricks clusters accordingly.
Monitor Databricks performance troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to ensure system reliability.
Implement security measures to safeguard Databricks environments and data.
Work closely with data engineers data scientists and other stakeholders to streamline data workflows.
Provide technical support and training to endusers on Databricks usage and best practices.
Stay current with Databricks updates and industry trends to recommend improvements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Databricks Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Apache Spark and Databricks architecture.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Scala.
Familiarity with data engineering and analytics concepts.
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
