Data Annotation Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Data Annotation Operations Manager to oversee our data labeling workforce. In this role you will be responsible for creating and extending annotation guidelines in collaboration with our machine learning team training and supervising multiple external labeling teams and ensuring the smooth operation of our data annotation processes.

Tasks

• Review: Conduct regular reviews of the annotations produced by the labeling teams to ensure data quality and relevance.
• Training: Design and implement training programs for both internal teams and external partners to ensure a consistent understanding of the annotation guidelines and tools
• Annotation guidelines: Develop and refine annotation guidelines in collaboration with the product management and machine learning team to ensure data quality and relevance.
• Enhance efficiency: Encourage and implement innovative approaches to improve the data annotation process including exploring new tools technologies and methodologies.
• Reporting: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of the labeling efforts.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role managing data annotation projects and teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to data quality and team performance.
• Excellent communication skills capable of effectively training teams and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to meet project goals.
• Understanding of machine learning workflows and the importance of highquality data annotation in developing AI models.
• Experience with annotation tools and technologies and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and processes.
