Our clientare seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Analytics Engineer. The ideal candidatewill possess a strong background in data analysis and engineering with the ability to extract valuable insights fromcomplex datasets.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director the jobholder will be responsible for the creation maintenance and deliveryof all business MI data analysis and future data warehousing. They will be responsible for building and managing theprocesses that extract and transform the data from a variety of systems. This role is the first of its kindgiving the jobholder the opportunity to shape the future of this area.

Main Duties:

• Utilise statistical methods and tools to analyse large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Develop and implement data models algorithms and statistical analyses to support business decisionmaking.
• Interpret and communicate findings to nontechnical stakeholders through clear and concise reports andvisualisations.
• Design implement and maintain databases to store and manage large volumes of data.
• Optimise database performance and ensure data integrity and security.
• Develop and maintain datadriven applications and tools using programming languages such as Python R SQL orothers as necessary.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technicalsolutions.
• Implement and optimise data pipelines for efficient data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
• Create interactive and informative dashboards and reports to present key insights to stakeholders using tools likePower BI.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of data and applications to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Identify and address data quality issues and discrepancies.

Experience Required:

• Knowledge and experience within credit hire or motor insurance is essential.
• Proven experience in data analysis database management and pipeline development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R SQL etc.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau Power BI etc.).
• Knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning techniques is a plus

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience within credit hire is essential.
• Degree in a STEM field or relevant experience.
