Job Description
A fastgrowing and passionate technical engineering company heavily invested in cuttingedge technology they are currently looking for a Data Analyst this role is to assist in building and delivering a range of datadriven models across the entire credit life cycle.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate for this position is detailoriented passionate about data highly analytical and accustomed to working in a technological environment with multiple integrated systems. The successful incumbent will be responsible for translating business needs into IT solutions by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical and testing tasks of our systems databases and processes.
Your daily adventures include:
- Responsible for researching and analysing company data to support statistical analysis by the business. You should be able to interpret and explain the data in a way that can be easily evaluated.
- Implement and maintain systems used to collect and analyse business intelligence data.
- Deliver value from datadriven insights in all aspects of the commercial process.
- Help automate and improve the data management process create new products and services and assist with improved decisionmaking based on data.
- Work with domain experts data scientists and data engineers to develop analytics tools and solutions.
- Core BI Duties
- Marketing Queries: affiliates attribution and reporting and performance per acquisition channel funding rates and arrears rates
- Marketing Funnel KPIs: applicant quality and conversion metrics and dashboard maintenance and view optimisation
- Credit Funnel: outcomes materialised views and systems and credit funnel monitoring and alerts
- Core Analytics Projects
- Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) (paused)
- Profitability bottoms up: cost per acquisition and collections and revenues post disbursements
- Customer acquisition scorecard
- Returning customer churn and eligibility
- Customer reborrow rates
- Survival analysis returning customer churn.
- Stimulation lists (continuous)
- Monetising declines and dropoff applicants
- Affordability declines rank and funding likelihood model
- Customer Segmentation (Archived)
- Marketing persona
- Filer expansion program
- Customer segmentation
- Network analysis
Requirements
What it takes to succeed:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Statistics Mathematics Economics or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Excellent SQL skills are essential.
- Primary Reporting RDBMS Postgres.
- Advanced skills in Excel Python R or other statistical analysis tools.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
