Cybersecurity Specialist

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Successfully plan execute monitor control and close all technical tasks related to configuration and support of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform specifically to address security requirements and enhance our organizations security posture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow SecOps solutions including automation of security processes.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows forms scripts and integrations to automate security processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide support for software coding and customization including but not limited to: user interfaces workflow administration report setup data imports integration scripting thirdparty software integrations and custom application development.
• Update and maintain a comprehensive testing suite to support outofthebox (OOTB) as well as custom applications with the purpose of regression testing.
• Maintain interfaces for external integrations leveraging ServiceNow s Integration Hub REST and other standard integration protocols.
• Coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues related to data ingestion and external integration
• Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to create sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
• Answer how to technical and application configuration questions.
• Conduct regular testing and troubleshooting of ServiceNow SecOps solutions to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and best practices in ServiceNow SecOps development and proactively recommend improvements to enhance our security operations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
• Assisting in regulatory compliance efforts such as GDPR and HIPAA
• Developing incident response plans and playbooks
• Assessing thirdparty security controls and vendor risk management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Certifications such as CISSP CISM or CEH
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on Security Operations.
• Strong background in ServiceNow development security operations and a passion for staying uptodate with the latest industry trends
• Solid understanding of security operations and best practices including incident response vulnerability management and threat intelligence
