Job Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Expert at Riverhouse Technologies you will play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality integrity and availability of our information systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in cybersecurity and possess a deep understanding of current cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to implement and maintain robust security measures conduct risk assessments and respond to security incidents.
Responsibilities:
1. Security Implementation: Deploy manage and maintain security infrastructure including firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and antivirus solutions.
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
3. Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans and lead investigations into security incidents or breaches.
4. Security Audits: Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential weaknesses.
5. Security Policies and Procedures:* Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
6. Security Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the overall technology architecture.
8. Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor security logs and alerts analyze trends and respond to potential threats in realtime.
9. Research and Development: Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends technologies and threats and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of handson experience in cybersecurity.
3. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles best practices and industry standards.
4. Experience with security technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems antivirus solutions etc.
5. Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
6. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
7. Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Relevant certifications are a plus.
