Description
Summary: Research and investigate the design functionality and maintenance of mechanical products equipment systems and processes. Have the ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints. The technical skills include the ability to make sketches and engineering drawings and have experience using computer applications related to the engineering field. Ability to analyze manufacturing processes identify bottlenecks and improve processes using structure problem solving processes.

Education/Experience:
o Bachelor degree in engineering required
o 810 years experience required Responsibility level
o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor

Skills:
o Creativity verbal and written communication skills analytical and problem solving ability (Required)
o Team player and detail oriented (Required)o Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas (Required)
o Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
o Advanced ability to make sketches engineering drawings and common computations (Typically required)o Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawing schematics and computergenerated reports (Typically required)
o Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required)
o Experiencing create process documentation such as standard working methods material lift and movement plans etc.
o Experience designing and validating manufacturing tools for the handling of materials in a manufacturing proces.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Study time motion methods and speed involved in maintenance production and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency
o Review worker logs product processing sheets and specification sheets to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications
o Review and approve work assignments in accordance with worker performance machine capacity production schedules and anticipated delays
o Review charts graphs and diagrams to illustrate workflow routing floor layouts material handling and machine utilization
o Evaluate data and reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
o Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
o Recommend revision to methods of operation material handling equipment layout or other changes to increase production or improve standards

**Additional Manager notes**
This role will have working days MondayFriday; 8am5pm with minimum overtime. When the manager is ready the interviews will be one hour onsite.
