Unless the nurse has previous experience in a 350 bed plus hospital this assignment will be very overwhelming*** 4thCCU 32 bed general critical care unit with a variety of patient diagnosis: medical surgical traumas. 1:2 nurse patient ratio. The unit is managed by Intensivists 24/7. Respiratory manages vents and on unit at all times. Unlicensed help available both shifts.
