Credit Controller

I am currently working with a fantastic and reputable client in Burnley who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to come and join their team. They are looking for someone who can come in and prioritise their own workload someone who can work independently and use their initiative and work within a great finance team. The role consists of the core running of the credit control for the business being the first point of contact for all debtor and account queries.

The role of the Credit Controller will involve;

Chasing overdue debt via phone and email to maximise collections

Manage your ledger including building relationships with the clients

Manage the credit applications including credit checks and setting credit limits

Mainly working with high value accounts rather than masses of clients which gives you a good opportunity to establish great relationships with your customer base (Often just requiring a nudge for payments)

Raising credit notes and sending out statements

Sales Invoicing

Develop systems processes and controls

Continuous improvement constantly looking at more efficient ways of working

We are looking for someone who brings a wealth of Credit Control experience and:

Great communication skills to liaise with suppliers and customers

Can confidently manage the aged debt reports and loves to reduce outstanding payments

Can provide regular updates and reports for senior management

Is confident when resolving invoice queries

Passion for their role
