Our client is a leader metallurgy industry company. Their commitment to excellence has set us apart and they're looking for a driven Cost Estimator Engineer to propel their vision forward.

Position Summary: you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial and technical proposals that guide their sales strategies. This role demands a blend of precision in cost estimation and keen insights into engineering solutions ensuring the delivery of competitive and compelling quotations to clients. Your expertise will bridge the gap between their innovative products and the dynamic needs of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Quotations: Craft detailed and accurate quotations incorporating comprehensive cost timing and resource allocations while adhering to client specifications and the manufacturing capabilities.
  • Supply Chain Analysis: Evaluate the supply chain meticulously to ensure all components are considered in the quotations safeguarding project quality delivery and success.
  • Market Insights: Use market trends and customer data to develop business case studies standardize pricing and refine sales strategies to enhance market position and profitability.
  • Client Collaboration: Engage closely with clients to deeply understand their needs tailoring solutions that address their challenges and exceed their expectations.
  • Sales Support: Provide robust technical support to the sales team enhancing customer presentations and proposals with your expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemical Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 35 years experience in cost estimation ideally within the metallurgy or oil & gas sectors.
  • Exceptional analytical and technical skills with proficiency in data analysis and market research.
  • Strong communication skills capable of effectively collaborating with clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management with a focus on quality and reliability.
