Corporate Financial Planning Manager Real Estate

About the Role

A leading developer in the Philippines is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Financial Planning Manager (Real Estate) to join their growing finance team. In this leadership role you will report directly to the CFO and oversee two critical teams: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Corporate Finance. You will play a vital role in driving strategic financial planning analysis and decisionmaking across the real estate business unit.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:
  

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to two teams: FP&A (1 Lead 3 Officers) and Corporate Finance (1 Lead 3 Officers).
    
  • Develop and mentor team members fostering a culture of collaboration continuous learning and high performance.
    
  • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
    
  • Manage workload distribution and ensure efficient resource allocation across both teams.
    

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
  

  • Oversee the development and implementation of the companys real estate financial plans budgets and forecasts.
    
  • Lead the FP&A team in conducting variance analysis scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess financial risks and opportunities.
    
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure financial plans align with strategic objectives.
    

• Corporate Finance:
  

  • Supervise the Corporate Finance team in financial modeling project feasibility analysis and capital budgeting for real estate projects.
    
  • Manage the process of evaluating potential investments mergers and acquisitions.
    
  • Lead the identification and implementation of financial risk management strategies.
    

• Real Estate Expertise:
  

  • Leverage your 45 years of experience in the real estate industry to provide deep industry knowledge and insights.
    
  • Analyze market trends and their potential impact on the companys financial performance.
    
  • Support business units in making informed real estate investment and development decisions.
    

• Financial Systems and Processes:
  

  • Possess strong knowledge of SAP and play a key role in building implementing and optimizing financial systems related to real estate operations.
    
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
    

• Travel:
  

  • Be prepared to undertake monthly business trips to the Cebu office.
    

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field (CPA is a plus)
  
• Minimum of 710 years of experience in corporate finance or financial planning with a focus on real estate
  
• Proven leadership experience in managing and motivating teams
  
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail
  
• Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills
  
• Proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g. Anaplan) SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  
• Experience in building and implementing financial systems (SAP preferred)
  
• Understanding of real estate industry trends and dynamics
