This position utilizes a consultative risk management approach to employee benefit (Life & Health Insurance) sales while working in conjunction with Account Management Compliance carriers and thirdparty administrators to obtain data and manage the client through the sales process analysis and implementation and maintenance of clients employee benefits programs. Responsible for acting as an advocate on behalf of the client to ensure account retention and a superior experience. We are looking for someone that loves insurance is relocating to Florida or want to obtain a book of business in Florida.

Responsibilities

Increase business growth at an annual rate set by the organization

Maintain database for current customers as well as prospects to track lead activity and status

Meet annual rendition goal in account revenue as well as sales goals for core benefits products voluntary benefits products Compliance/HR professional services and other proprietary products.

Maintain existing client base by answering product and service questions in a timely and efficient manner; suggesting information about other products and services when applicable.

Assist in evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive options; analyzing and relaying customer experience.

Coordinate and present predictive modeling and data analytics when applicable.

Produce a proactive renewal timeline for all accounts.

Direct the implementation and execution of sold accounts to the carrier and or thirdparty administrator.

Provide team and client with appropriate timelines to ensure that expectations and turnaround times are met.

Sustain a working knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues surrounding health & wellness.

Organize submission of all pertinent information to the proposal coordinator to obtain proposals from all carriers.

Participate in the renewal process for all groups with 10 eligible employees

Respond to routine and nonroutine correspondence.

Work independently and within the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Represent AP Benefit Advisors in a positive and professional manner with both internal and external customers

Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline driven environment

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Participate in Sales Meetings and retreats as scheduled.



Requirements


Bachelor s degree and/or 3 years employee benefits insurance experience

Life and Health Insurance License and/or obtain within 90 days

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Strong PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems

Knowledge of health life and disability plans preferred

Excellent customer relations skills and the ability to provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client service Clear, concise communication to maintain strong client relationships A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Property & Casualty Account Manager and 7 years of customer service experience. An active Property & Casualty Insurance license is required A high level of accountability and the ability to handle multiple client requests under tight deadlines Self-sufficient and able to work independently, as well as in team settings Strong organization and attention to detail Experience in AMS 360 agency management system What will make you really stand out Experience with multiple carriers including Safeco, Travelers, Chubb, Encompass, Metlife, PURE, Nationwide Private Client and others Ability to work cohesively with a dedicated Insurance Advisor to serve clients at the highest level Advanced Insurance designation(s) such as CPRM, ARM, CIC, AAI, or CPCU You have a track record of doing what s best for the client
