COOK – CCS

TalentAmp is hiring a COOK for one of our clients in the Hospital & Health Care industry in Greer, SC for an on-site role.

Location: Carolina Center - Greer, SC

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks contract

Shift: M-F 10am - 6:30pm EST

Job Description:

• Prepares meals for patients, employees, medical staff, and visitors, including special diets as requested. Participate in provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff, and guests. Serves meals to all cafeteria customers.
• Accepts and reconciles deliveries and puts away stock. Cleans work area as necessary or assigned. Cleans and maintains equipment as needed to comply with health regulations, standards.
• Periodically participates in deep cleaning assignments on request. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell.
• The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy/procedure manuals. Must be able to understand and follow oral and written directions. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff and customers.

Experience/Certification/Education: Cooking experience preferred. Food handlers required.
