Position Overview: As the Controller you will be instrumental in driving the financial strategy and operations of our agriculture farming business. Reporting directly to senior leadership you will play a key role in optimizing profitability managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting including budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity optimizing working capital and capital allocation.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive operational efficiencies and cost savings initiatives.
• Lead the annual budgeting process providing strategic insights to support decisionmaking.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• Proven experience in a financial leadership role within the agriculture or farming industry.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with agriculturalspecific software a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
