Controller

About the Position:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead a team of committed team members, in the preparation and oversight of the entire financial accounting process including monthly and quarterly reporting both externally and internally. This position will be a member of our Shared Services Finance team, supporting a Texas based company. We are open to having this role based in either Richardson, TX or Saskatoon, SK.You will work to develop and execute improved processes and system capabilities that enhance real time information and reporting quality in our newly implemented ERP system. Desired Qualifications:

• CPA Designation Required
  
• 5+ years total with experience in a Controller or Senior Management position
  
• Successful track record of system implementation and functionality enhancements considered an important asset
  
• Must possess strong project planning and execution skills, as well as the ability to continually drive process improvement
  
• The successful candidate will be an engaged communicator, focused and driven with a keen sense of purpose and urgency. A team-builder and motivator that inspires the team to achieve excellence
  
• As the leader of the department, you must be highly collaborative and interactive with the direct reports and across multiple functions, as well as with Senior Executive team
