Our client is an international manufacturer of advanced polymer materials. As a result of their growth they need a Continuous Improvement Engineer for their plant in Tennessee (near Memphis) who will

  • be responsible for identifying developing and implementing process improvement initiatives throughout the company
  • establish and enhance efficiency quality and safety with a focus on cost savings.
  • have experience operating in a manufacturing environment while creating information visualization information flow tracking optimization and process modeling.

Excellent base salary bonus PTO relocation and an excellent suite of benefits are all available.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Engineering degree
  • 25% Travel
  • Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience working for a manufacturer. (Someone out of the polymer processing resins colorants world is ideal.)
  • Experience leading Kaizen events
  • Excellent communication skills (such as knowing how to get buyin on the plant floor and getting the Plant Managers and other senior professionals in the plants to see the need etc)
