Job Summary:

  • The Aerospace Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Coordinator plays a crucial role in identifying implementing and sustaining process improvements within the aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • This position involves analyzing existing processes identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to enhance productivity reduce costs and improve overall operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data and metrics to determine process performance and efficiency.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams in process improvement projects.

Lean Manufacturing Practices:

  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste streamline processes and improve overall workflow efficiency.
  • Train and mentor team members in Lean methodologies.

Root Cause Analysis:

  • Investigate and identify the root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Automation and Technology Integration:

  • Explore opportunities for automation and technology integration to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Work with engineering teams to implement technological solutions.

DataDriven Decision Making:

  • Utilize data analysis to drive decisionmaking and measure the success of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor process improvements.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including production quality and engineering to implement improvements seamlessly.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Document changes to processes procedures and workflows.
  • Prepare regular reports on the progress and impact of continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field; additional certifications in Lean or Six Sigma are beneficial.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement within aerospace manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes materials and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
